I really enjoyed my stay here, especially because it's just a short walk of less than a 5-minute walk to Texas Roadhouse for a nice dinner and only 1.5 km from Huron Park, perfect for a morning stroll surrounded by nature.

However, the room left much to be desired, lacking many claimed amenities, and cleanliness could improve as some guests left trash outside. Despite these drawbacks, the overall atmosphere was pleasant enough for a short visit.

Awful first impressions

Walked into a really funky smell in the lobby like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Tried to make the best of it, but then the hallway reeked of smoke, and we found a family of roaches in our room! Noped out of there in under five minutes. Didn't even bother checking out the dining options.

We had a pleasant stay with the kids, especially enjoying the full size refrigerator and stovetop for quick meals. The location was also great, right near all the fun local attractions.

My kids wished for more towels available since we had to share among ourselves.

The room was nice and clean, which was a big plus. It felt cozy and welcoming. However, there was an issue during my visit that really stood out, as the front desk staff was surprisingly unhelpful. It was frustrating not being able to get in despite having a reservation, which left a bad taste. Overall, the room itself was decent, but the interaction with staff could definitely use improvement.
